It seems that fairies remain hidden under a cover of glamour, a magic veil that they cast over themselves.
Folklore says there are only two means by which humans may disperse the glamour, one of them is fairy ointment made by the fairies from four-leaf clovers. If a human applies this ointment to their eyes then can see through the glamour and to observe the fairies.
In legend , there are stories of fairies giving gifts of fairy ointment to favored mortals.
The second is an elixir, what you need is a vial glass , washed with rose water and marigold water , turnip tops, buds of hollyhock , and buds of hazel tree.
The best time to see a fairy are at twilight, midnight, just before sunrise and midday.
Once a fairy has been seen , be sure to keep your eyes fixed upon it because the fairy will only be seen for very short time.
I love Lewis Carroll , that wonderful author Mr. Carroll answered the question what is the best time for seeing Fairies?
